I'm an artist who likes to paint, collage, make & trade ATC's and mixed media art pieces. I love thrift stores and anything from the 40's and 50's. I also love vintage aprons, sewing supplies, fabric, jewelry and clothes.

This was made with a variety of things that I found in my collage bags....I just thought it ironic that I had this particular scrapbook sticker 'dinner out' on my desk after finishing the atc.
These were made for a swap...they have now been received and I hope my partner likes everything.
I decided to try to do a grid type atc using collage materials that were on my desk.
In an effort to get more accomplished I've resorted to making Xmas tags in an ATC size. I used scrapbook papers, stickers for the stag & deer, sequins for the Xmas tree and Xmas message.
I think it turned out pretty good.
Yet another in the ATC a day for a year challenge....! It's getting harder to get these done while there is so much else to do for the holidays.
Collaged ATC using Xmas stickers, pieces of a vintage Xmas card, cigar label and deer from the vintage card as well.
This was a collaged ATC for part of a swap for Frida cards.
Made this using paper scraps from ads, brochures and other recycled sources.
Collaged ATC....the centre image was given to me with some other collage elements and the rest I had collected.,
Anyone care to come up with a good caption for this picture...?
9 out of 10 moms.......(?)
Also...does the one in the back row....top right look like a man in a dress?
I couldn't resist doing more of these animal head figures....I wish I had more of these stickers, I know the day I found them in the store they were just laid down where they weren't supposed to be and the clerk didn't recognise. I searched all through the sticker and scrapbook sections and couldn't find anymore!
Continuing on with some more of the cardboard bits I found and vintage found backgrounds.
O.K., I already had this red piece of cardboard from something I bought for the kitchen. I loved the script for the word kitchen and the border which looked like stitching. I cut out the card to ATC size and then what was left of the word kitchen reminded of the word Kitsch.....and this card looks very kitschy to me!
Here's another....when I find something I like I will use it again and again! This was is fun and will probably be sent to a friend in L.A. who lives near a golf course. They are an artist but also like to play golf and being so near the course is handy although I think regular balls through your window is not!
This collaged ATC was made with a great image I found in a book that had the wallpaper background and some scrapbook paper...green, stickers. I was searching through supplies I hadn't used yet and came across this rubber stamp I found at a thrift store for 50 cents....I liked the script look of the text and just decided to stamp all over the card with it....I like the effect!
This was the second Loteria Ornament I made for a swap. The person it was for said they liked midnight blue and blues in general.
Here's another of the ATC's I've been making for the ATC a day for a year group.., this was has map, stickers, text and paper elements.
This is the second ATC I made with a fabric and vintage theme for a swap. My partner liked purple among other things so I hope they like this.
This is my first attemp at making a fabric collaged ATC...bark cloth on the right, vintage floral on the left, old S typeset stamp, handdyed and stamped cotton by me with paper and button collage.
This is the 3rd ATC for the ticket challenge....see above posts for explanation of ticket used. I collaged over the ticket with sign language for the letters that spelled art and used some pieces of origami paper as well.
Here's the second ATC I made for a ticket challenge ATC. The background with the words try again is from a large grocery store that gives these out when you make a purchase with a pull tab for prizes.
This was a collaged ATC I made for a swap recently using a ticket.
I noticed the exposed letters spelled Doe so I went with that and incorporated other scrap origami papers into the collage.
This was another collaged ATC for my 'ATC a day for a year' challenge.
Here is another collaged ATC using a retro stereo image with text, letters, and map circle.
This ATC is collaged using retro TV image, dictionary term for assemblage, text, number papers and sticker.
I've been making 1 or more ATC a day...this was one I made today.
I was invited to join an 'ATC a day for a year' group on Flickr and this is my second!
This was another ATC using collage elements to create it. I used the Hare sticker, flower stamp, punched circles of a vintage flocked wallpaper and cardstock (I'll have to look up the name of this sheet) on a cardstock paint sample.
This is a whale stamp ATC for a stamp ATC challenge. I've collaged the card using some blue cardstock, map circles, the Canada whale stamp and an old rubberstamp of the letter S.
This was sent to a partner for a swap., they liked Art Noveau.
Sent this to a partner in Australia for a Fall/Matchbox inspired swap....had lots of goodies inside too!
