I'm an artist who likes to paint, collage, make & trade ATC's and mixed media art pieces. I love thrift stores and anything from the 40's and 50's. I also love vintage aprons, sewing supplies, fabric, jewelry and clothes.

This was a collaged ATC for part of a swap for Frida cards.
Made this using paper scraps from ads, brochures and other recycled sources.
Collaged ATC....the centre image was given to me with some other collage elements and the rest I had collected.,
Anyone care to come up with a good caption for this picture...?
9 out of 10 moms.......(?)
Also...does the one in the back row....top right look like a man in a dress?
I couldn't resist doing more of these animal head figures....I wish I had more of these stickers, I know the day I found them in the store they were just laid down where they weren't supposed to be and the clerk didn't recognise. I searched all through the sticker and scrapbook sections and couldn't find anymore!
Continuing on with some more of the cardboard bits I found and vintage found backgrounds.
O.K., I already had this red piece of cardboard from something I bought for the kitchen. I loved the script for the word kitchen and the border which looked like stitching. I cut out the card to ATC size and then what was left of the word kitchen reminded of the word Kitsch.....and this card looks very kitschy to me!
Here's another....when I find something I like I will use it again and again! This was is fun and will probably be sent to a friend in L.A. who lives near a golf course. They are an artist but also like to play golf and being so near the course is handy although I think regular balls through your window is not!
This collaged ATC was made with a great image I found in a book that had the wallpaper background and some scrapbook paper...green, stickers. I was searching through supplies I hadn't used yet and came across this rubber stamp I found at a thrift store for 50 cents....I liked the script look of the text and just decided to stamp all over the card with it....I like the effect!
This was the second Loteria Ornament I made for a swap. The person it was for said they liked midnight blue and blues in general.
Here's another of the ATC's I've been making for the ATC a day for a year group.., this was has map, stickers, text and paper elements.
